Armenian and French websites attacked by hackers Monday, November 06, 2006

After having attacked many French websites (approximately 900),Hackers of Turkish origin pirated the symbolic website <www.genocide1915.info> to protest against the positive vote of the members of the French Parliament penalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide. A hacker, called "Ejder" modified the site in question to place there the picture of the founding father of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on bottom of the Turkish flag and of national anthem.

Memorial service in remembrance of Nazeli Teperdjian Wednesday, November 01, 2006

Nazli Teperdjian 1919-2006

Nazli Teperdjian, 1919-2006The Teperdjian family is holding a Memorial  Service in remembrance of their mother Nazeli Teperdjian, on Friday 3rd November 2006.

Mass will commence at 11:00am requiem at 12:30pm, at the Armenian Church, Sharjah, UAE, followed by lunch at the Church Hall. May her soul rest in eternal peace

Nazeli Teperdjian, (1919 Zahlé – 2006 Dubai), was mother of six: Zohrab, Jeannette, Noubar, Hilda, Sonia and Avedis.

She was honest, ethical, straightforward and compassionate. Faith, love and togetherness in her family were part of her legacy. Generous and caring, she lived her life blessing her family, relatives and friends with her gifts of love.

She was married in 1933 to Khoren Teperdjian, at a very early age, when she was only 14 years old. Her relation with her children was more than being a mother; she was a sister and a friend. Since 1975 she lived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where her eldest son Zohrab, with his brothers, established a group of companies called Gmmos.

She used to give advice to all members of her family in every aspect of life. Her intuition safeguarded and led them all to greater achievements. It is still hard to believe she has left us. Her warm spirit and infectious good nature will be greatly missed.

Survivors include one son and three daughters, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
